A tunnel maze, planks, a hoola hoop and a toy.

This is later in a play session - Kirk is enjoying the PVC bed - great for learning to walk on uneven ground, the indoor playarea, contains the see thru steps; several toys and large foam pieces to climb over; so the puppies frequently go indoors (inside the breezeway) to explore and play. Everyone looks quite sedate, as this is later in the play session. The two brownies that get "hit" by the strawman, are of course chekov and mccoy. All the puppies explore with the group and go out on their own - to play. If there's trouble you can count on checkov and kirk being there - something new? They will be first.

Kirk of course - learning to balance and jump! - Two big solid pieces of wood. The pups "find" their own toys in their playground.

Chekov explores the wobble cushion - he will usually find a reason to go on if it is about someplace. The little guy who runs into the pod and tunnel is Kirk - he 's not impressed and bounces right back into play.

It's not just a tunnel, it's a tunnel that moves when you walk through it - which chekov obviously likes. The red tarp is fun to run over too; watch for spock - he's not so sure about the safety of the tunnel - and decides to stay on firm ground. In that same session he kept coming back to explore the tunnel from the outside. Kirk was the first to walk up and down the steps, then Spock - which may suprise you considering Chekovs fun and adventurous nature. Spock is a thinker, he maye not be the first to throw himself into the pond; but he will get there. Being able to walk up the stairs (which are see thru) takes focus not just physical skill. You have to get past the distraction of the see thru step and move up.
